Halloween has come soon........

Recently I had the opportunity to do a photoshoot with two of my very close fiends. The photoshoot was inspired by "Dia de los Muertos" or "Day of the Dead". For those of you who doesn't know what "Day of the Dead" is (click on the link).

All of this was part the "Third Annual Dia de los Muertos and Moster Factory" exhibit at City Arts Factory. I had the opportunity to showcase two of my photos at the exhibit . It was an amazing experience and I thank City Arts Factory for the opportunity. All of the art was amazing Orlando, FL it's full of great talent.

I had an idea and concept and it all came to life. My concept was based on kinda Romeo and Juliet story. I was inspired by their eternal love. I believe that even after death people can love one another. A Love so powerful that it lives forever and ever.

First I though of having a couple on the shoot but then my guy friend couldn't make it,  so I only had my friend Daniela. It actually worked out better than I had anticipated she was amazing to work with. She had never model before and I told her that a model was born that day, she did great.

I want to share with you the photos from the shoot as well as the behind the scenes and preparation it took  to make this happen.

my friend kinda got into the whole theme that she was wearing a skull hair clip

on location. A bit of retouch
I told her to relax and all she did was laugh. I'm guessing the nerves.

"Lost"

I'm so glad Evetzie did the makeup, she did a great job

Daniela dancing around. it was fun

(outtakes) Since we didn't have a guy to portray the long gone Lover. I had my boyfriend's Halloween mask in my car and so Evetzie wore the mask and got into the shoot. It was very funny.
